THE ALDRIDGE JUNIOR SIGNATURE ART PRIZE

The Aldridge Junior Signature Art Prize was first launched by the Aldridge Foundation in partnership with Artellite and sponsored by Callsign, a leading cyber security firm, in 2019. Created to run alongside Artellite's international Signature Prize, the Junior Prize is open exclusively to students we support across the Aldridge family of schools and colleges, all of which are in communities facing socio-economic challenges.

We're delighted to be working with Artellite, an organisation that shares our commitment to providing young people with opportunities that open their eyes and widen their horizons, to enable us to give young people the invaluable and inspiring experience of entering their work into an exhibition to be judged by professionals from the sector, meet artists in the early stages of their careers and see their work professionally hung in a central London gallery, alongside finalists of the main Prize.

We cannot wait for you to see the work produced by our student finalists next week but in the meantime, we wanted to let you know that most of the original artworks created by our 2020/21 Aldridge Junior Signature Art Prize Finalists have been purchased and donated into an auction, which closes at midnight on Thursday 23rd September. Proceeds will help us to continue our valuable work, providing experiences and opportunities that give young people the chance to discover their skills and the things they’re passionate about – and explore how they can take them forward into the world of work. A percentage of all auction proceeds will go to our talented student artists.
